Can anyone tell me why Kallum Watkins hasn't played for the first team in a while? Saw him playing for the academy last week (he was named in the squad but obviously dropped).

Probably because Leeds have more consistent performers available in his position at the moment.



Watkins needs to be patient and keep developing physically and mentally. His time will come.



Look at Ratu, he's had to wait until he's 22 to get a run of games and he's taking his opportunity now.

He is young and learning. Players in the squad are more consistant and more experienced than he is. Had alot of game time this season imo, and played really well. I think he could be in the squad this weekend.

Ratu has deserved the chance that he is getting now, and last weekend his try was the best part of the game imo, due to the fact that hes been waiting along time to break into the squad and now showing that he deserves a place.

A pity Leeds' only ever present this season loses his record this week. On the other hand it's a relief to finally get our fourth prop back available, perhaps that will help Jones-Buchanan rediscover a bit of his spark.

I'd keep Ratu and get rid of Worrell.

Why?



A second rower would be handier on the bench.



They've both put in sterling efforts. I think Wozzer has run well and trys his hardest. I'd put him in this week over Ratu for me, if it came to a 50 50 choice.



Or play both and give Senior a breather.

I think the poster was thinking more longer term than Saturday's game. I could be wrong but that's how I read it.
