oh I've seen something very similar over here a few years ago in the under 14s, when players of a team between Halifax and Huddersfield kicked the hell out of a player whilst he was on the ground - parents didn't seem too upset by their sons actions either

The length of ban involved will rightfully rule out an RL career (or even participation) for the guilty parties.
