So, we have winding up petition lodged by HMRC which is described on the day (about 3 weeks ago) as a mistake and will be rectified shortly following legal intervention. We then hear absolutely nothIng and i mean nothing regarding the situation, then our only saleable asset is rumoured to be sold raising a reasonable amount of cash, leaving us without a proven number 9! Hmmm!

And let Conroy leave this year to join Dewsbury. All feels a bit familiar, aside from Welham we seem to be signing very ordinary players who are likely on lower wages and in the meantime selling our best young talent to help balance the books. Maybe O'Brien is our answer to a HMRC bill?

Isn't it possible that Leeds have simply offered the sum of whatever his buyout clause is? In which case, the Bulls would have no say in whether Adam stayed or decided to leave.

I really hope AOB isn't on the way out either - that would be a huge blow and Halafihi isn't the answer. Neither is Addy.



Hope T&A are wrong and we have a half lined up - Purtell will never be a solution there.

I don't get the Haggerty signing unless - as someone else suggested - Ferguson(or another one) is on his way.

To be honest that wouldn't be a bad deal. He'll be gone at end of season for peanuts if we don't get promoted.

Given fergusons injury record, 30 games played over last two seasons so round about 50% availabilty, and assuming hes one of higher wage earners then that one wouldn't bother me as much as OB and would make some sense of haggerty signing.

Assuming worst case and OB is going but being loaned back for next year then provided it sorts out any financial issues guess its just what we're gonna have to get used to.

I've been told tonight 2 other SL clubs in for Ferguson but Bulls have put a rather large fee on his head, be lucky to get a third of it given his injury record

Ferguson one of our best players. Given te format of the league, I'd rather a top quality player just play the last 8 games than a bang average player who can play every game.

You obviously have some good sources within the club. Are you able to confirm - or deny - that the fact that we suddenly seem to be putting a fee on the head of various players is related (in any way) to the recent 'discussions' with HMRC?

Isn't Haggerty just filling a Matt Ryan shaped hole? Nobody has to leave.

I know it won't happen, but some SL clubs need to feck off and develop their own talent. Some ignorant pr!cks on the Leeds board actually have the gall to claim that Robbie Ward - the young hooker Leeds were only too happy to release - is better than AoB.

Honestly, they don't deserve him if that's their attitude.
