You'd think that wouldn't you... But they show 6 rounds a week of the NRL, the playoffs and the City/Country game but Sky show the NRL grand final.

Premier sports wont be aloud to show the nrl GF? or will they share it with sky?

Last year PS showed all season but Sky showed the GF. I dont think PS have the rights.

Last year sky showed the NRL grand final live in their usual format - namely Carney, Wells and Mcrae talking in a studio in the UK up to kick off, with occasional glimpses of what was happening in the stadium and the odd interview. Premier Sports showed it delayed the following day, but with the full Channel 9 build up and coverage.

For those who haven't signed up for PS - www.nrl.livesport.tv seems to be showing the replays of games free now, with just the live games that you need to pay for. The Knights/Dragons and Eels/Broncos games are on there now in full to watch at your leisure.

I've signed up again - just watching the Knights and Dragons game as I type; the picture quality seems to have significantly improved over last season, which is a welcome development.



It was nice to send a tenner to Batley in the sign-up process - that's a good idea.

A downside to Premier Sports - when you Sky+ a game and it goes to extra time, the recording ends before the programme; I don't know the technical reasons, but I do know that I've just missed the end of the game. Most annoying.

This applies for any sporting event on any channel.

The one down side to the website is that you automatically know that it's gone to golden point as there are 3 file to view rather than GP being on the end of the 2nd half.
