BBA , i second both your statements , i have watched the Leythers for around 50 years now , as Clowns go , im an owd un , and cant imagine the Town of Leigh without a Rugby team , i dont blame the Club though , they are fighting against many other pastimes these days , but keep trying , i feel yo many of our Spectators feel its easy to listen to the game on Radio , or log on this Forum to find out about the game .



What some people dont realise is the players want paying , they are not on fortunes anyway , as do the Stewards and other employees , its the loaves and fishes syndrome , anyway BBA ,keep smiling and following the lads , thats what i intend doing .

Now wether certain players are targeted or not it is a pretty good bet coaches can spot them and without naming names 1 was in the pack and the other 2 are not in the pack.

I am an amateur who always says good defence wins games but of course without outscoring the opposition you lose anyways.



The three I am thinking about have all been substituted this season but without one of them in particular I think we would struggle even with 13 good defensive players on the pitch.

Ridyard would be one, just to tire him out !!



Gardners aint great, and Brierley would be targeted, again the same as Riddy.
