I guess London is a dramatically more expensive place to live than, say, Hull or St. Helens.



Perhaps you should have London-weighting on the Salary Cap, although the money would still have to come from somewhere, of course.



I'd have thought it'd be mitigated by London being a dramatically more attractive place to live than, say, Hull or St. Helens - especially for antipodeans. Mind, I suppose there'll be a relocation premium for Northerners - if you live in West Yorkshire, you can easily change clubs without the hassle of upping sticks for a 1 or 2 year deal.

I used to be a season ticket holder at the Stoop first time round who drifted away gradually due to family and home changes but I went along today as my 13 year old son got an invite to the juniors event. Just after half time he turned to me and said he wished we hadn't bothered coming as Quins were so bad......next time there is a junior event I doubt he will bother to tell me or ask to go

What the answer to this is I don't know but I do fear for the future of SL in London ( And yes I know I am partly to blame by not attending like I used to).

IF THAT IS ACCURATE THEN IT'S NOT JUST MAC THAT NEEDS TO GO.

I still think blaming mac for all our woes is pretty short sighted, the coach does not train players to kick the ball out on the full at kick off! he does not train the players to get caught offside at a goal line drop out

one of our best players on the park today is a relative newcomer to Rugby league

I don't think anyone is blaming BMcD for all our woes but our record over the second half of last season and first part of this has been diabolical. He has admitted he is clueless and the team don't seem to want to play for him.

Who picks the team, who decides which players to bring into the squad? The coach. If the players are not good enough they should be dropped and made to further develop their skills. Granted we cannot change the team but is it really different to the beginning of last season before we collapsed? That wasn't about money just poor decision making and dare I say coaching out individual skill sets. This is Mac's team and he has to go, another voice as coach may just have a different reaction to what we see now which is total rubbish. To keep on the present path will lead to no SL team in London. Once out of SL it will be at least 3 years and I suspect many more before we see top class league in London on a regular basis.
