Quote I.T Babe="I.T Babe"If this is going to be a regular yearly occurance, please explain why I bother shelling out for a ticket at the start of the season. By buying in advance you never know if the fixtures are going to interfere with holidays etc, but I still buy one.'"
It’s happened for the last two years at the very least.
Not sure what your issue is. By paying £18 for seven games then £72 for the final six you end up paying £198. A full season ticket was, I think, £200, ignoring the loyalty and early bird offers for a moment (which were £175 and £185 respectively).
Is £2 really worth that much to cause complaint or put you off purchasing a full season ticket in the future? Don’t forget that season ticket holders were able to buy the new away shirt for £25.
Anyway it’s a shame that this was not in place to coincide with the temporary relocation of the shop in the Ridings. I’m sure the club could’ve sold quite a few.
[iEDIT: just realised you're questioning whether to buy a season ticket when you know you may be missing matches, well in that case taking a gamble and purchasing match day tickets for all the ones you can attend and then taking a punt on the half season ticket is the option for you, but by buying the ticket in the winter helps the club when cash flow is low.
