Wakefield Wildcats Community Trust in partnership with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats RLFC and Graham Ibbeson will deliver a Bronze Lifesize Sculpture of NEIL FOX MBE. The statue will be situated within the proposed new stadium development at Newmarket.
Graham Ibbeson – Sculpture
For three decades Graham Ibbeson has produced sculptures of outstanding depth, quality and comedy.
He has created bronze sculptures in towns and cities across Britain including Leeds, Cardiff, Dover, Barnsley, Doncaster, Northampton, Chesterfield, Middlesbrough, Perth, Otley and Rugby.
One of the most famous pieces is the statue of legendary comedian Eric Morecambe, which stands in the performer’s seaside hometown of Morecambe, Lancashire.
The statue was unveiled by the Queen.
Public Subscription
To provide a package that involves a minimum of 120 people and a maximum of 150 people.
The package will be an elite members list of people who want to donate a fixed amount of money. The package will include;
• Individual name/Family name/Business/organisation name to appear on the granite in front of NEIL FOX statue
• Maquette (scale model) about 12 inch high in bronze resin and signed
• Invitation to the unveiling ceremony in the presence of Graham Ibbeson, Neil Fox and distinguished guests.
The cost of the above package £600
I am giving the Wakefield Trinity Wildcats supporters the initial opportunity to purchase the package. We are also providing a payment option scheme. This will be £120 per month over 5 months or payment in full made payable to the Neil Fox Fund.

Same here, however I see no reason why we as a group can't contribute fiver or tenner. Maybe through Squadbuilder or Wisca?
Just as important IMO is that if/when we leave BV there is a permanent memorial on that site to remind all future generations as to the deeds that were once seen there. |

What about raffling one off 6.50 a ticket max of 100 tickets makes it affordable for the average fan and you have a 1 in 100 chance of winning so the odds are attractive

I know people who cant afford the said amount are looking at purchasing the package as a family. This would allow the family name to be present on the granite FOR EXAMPLE The FOX Family.
Additionally the signed maquette will have a value to it as these will be a limited edition.

After a meeting with Davide to discuss this prior to going public, i was extremely excited about the project. We all know that Neil is a Legend and fully deserves this accolade! Davide has always wanted to do something like this and with us moving on strongly with the stadium it seems the perfect time.
I appreciate initially it seems like a big investment but it can be broken down into monthly installments or even shared amongst a family.
I will be backing this with my Dad and Sister as the Amos Family and will be able to look at the Statue and say i played a part in this for many years to come!!
We have a rich heritage in Wakefield as a RL Club and the Neil Fox Sculpture would represent Neil as a person and RL Record Holder...
What a great Guy and i hope people are able to get involved

| This needs to be pushed, Neil Fox is not only a legend but a legend down under. I had the privalage to talk to Graham Langlands a few years back, and he said, Fox was his all time great, and coming from that bloke it does not get any bigger than that.
