Exactly, do the crime be prepared to do the time. Once they have been punished then that is the end of it whether you or me thinks the punishment fits the crime is another matter but that is completely out of our hands and we must accept the judges decision. If Bird gets another contract with Les Cats fair do's at the end of the day the man has to earn a living, I've got a friend in prison and I wouldn't want him coming out with no options available for him.

I'm not going to get into any argument but I personally think it was a cowardly act and I think he has got of very lightly,

there is nothing that can excuse anybody doing that kind of violence especially to a female,



I do have a problem with him coming straight back to the game, as he is supposed to be a role model to all youngsters coming through the ranks, I hope the relevant authorities seek that he pays some kind of ban no different to what has happened over here,



one thing tho you can't have one player being penalized and another not for very similar circumstances, its time they looked upon acts like these and enforce a compulsory minimum ban, they do when using drugs /steroids
