For half an hour Saints didn't get in the Rovers 20. It was 15-0 to Rovers in terms of PTB's in the opposition 20. 


Paasi came on and made a difference but he soon came off and when Davies put Rovers back in front it was the least they deserved.


The double try effort for Rovers in the second half made the result a foregone conclusion.


Rovers were lucky to beat Cas in round one had to hang on v Wakey round 2, faced a pathetic Salford in round 3.but this was more like the Rovers of 2024.

Not going well!Have to feel sorry for him getting a debut in a game he?d never be able to break in to anyway. Fans were already on his back after his trial performance.

Saints fans have been after lomax to be dropped.for a while. Whitby offers more with his kicking game. Fair play to wellins for having the balls to do it.

Lomax looks a spent this season and thought last season he relied on feigning/gamesmanship to gain advantage rather than anything else. 


Noticeable the difference with the officiating as M?Byes looked a more intentional shoulder charge with direct contact to Eckersly head yet only seemed yellow. Where as Cust look more like a collision at full tilt going for the ball yet sees red.
