With the current squad think pryce has to play fb. Raps is in twilight of his career not sure how many games he could play there. Think it’s same issue with Hardaker too. Moy not physically big enough yet. Cust can do more than capable job at 6.
Agree to an extent. My only worry about that is that if Cust plays 6 we then go another week with Bourouh doing a full 80. Which he is capable of doing, it just means we don't have any impact coming on at 9. We're missing Balmforth massively in that department. We could include Hutchinson again, but he's still too raw to really make much of a difference when he comes on, and that's usually only in the last 10 anyway.

| We have lots of full backs in the squad but none top notch. moy, litten, hardaker all played FB most of their (some admittedly short) careers. Add in rapana and pryce and we have plenty of options but no top class specialist. For Friday I'd maybe go with pryce to start at FB, cust at 6, rapana on the wing and briscoe in the centre. I think rapana, briscoe, hardaker and martin is our strongest 3/4 line currently. Then I'd have litten on the bench and if we need to spell burough move cust to 9 and bring litten to FB and Pryce to 6.
I think putting pryce at FB for the next 2 or 3 weeks until he's fully up to speed would let him settle in and cause us less disruption

| Not sure who or what 17 we will have available but hopefully Cust should be back at the very least and fingers crossed possibly Watts. With Balmforth still likely to be unavailable I'd like to see Cust used to spell Bourouh as I thought he looked a little jaded on Saturday. Although Rapana didn't have his best game I still think he's our best option at FB currently and with Litten & Pryce we have the option of changing things around during the 80mins if needed.
2nd row is the big issue as we simply don't have recognised ones left but think Ashworth will do well and think it may well be worth giving Kirby or Jebson an opportunity to impress, if not Ashworth & Aydin.
Something a little different I know but
Rapana/Litten Briscoe Hardaker Litten/Rapana Martin Pryce/Cust Sezer Ese'ese Bourouh/Cust Knight Ashworth Kirby/Jepson Asiata
Aydin Salabio or Watts (if fit) Eseh Cust

| Got my tickets this morning, looking forward to a Saturday afternoon trip out to Cheshire, been a while since I was last there so looking forward to it.
Tough game, we will do well to come away with the spoils. I wasn't overly impressed with Warrington yesterday, thought they made heavy weather of dispatching what looks like a very average Saints outfit. But they have some big game players who can turn any game in an instant, they just don't seem to be quite clicking as a solid unit at the moment, maybe they're saving that for Wembley!!!!
If we go there with attitude and energy, continuing what we've witnessed from them so far, then I don't think too many of us on here will bag them, even if we lose. It would be a big bonus two points if we do steal it.
On the question of Pryce, I'm in two minds. Cust and Sezer had struck up a decent partnership in the first few games, and part of me thinks we should continue with that, put Pryce to full-back (giving him space to chime into the line, playing a heads-up game) until such time he has been fully integrated into the side (hopefully with a few weeks sessions behind him). Thought he looked a little like a fish out of water at half-back on Saturday, unsure where to go and what to do. The one big break he made, late first-half, was an off the cuff moment which nearly brought a spectacular reward.
On the other hand, as others have said, we brought Pryce in as a 6, Rapana at FB and Cust as interchange hooker/half, so maybe we should go with what we intended. I can see the argument for that as well. It's a good job it's JC making these calls and not me, I'd be tying myself in knots over this one!! At the very least, it gives us options to play with across the back division, even allowing for a re-jig mid game if JC feels he needs to inject a change somewhere. I can see Pryce playing both 1 & 6 over the coming weeks, especially if our usual injury woes continue to bite.
If we get anything out of the next 2/3 weeks, it'll be a nice bonus. We're doing ok so far, let's hope we continue to see progress. Onwards and upwards as we say!!
