| Did anyone see the walk thing where they walked down a stretch to a stage and it was lined with fans….Wigan and wire walked down..shook hands and a few selfies with fans but all with serious faces…the women come down…dancing and whooping and dancing on stage then get done 90-4. |

Crowd of 45k is decent and 5k higher than last year...but the number crunchers will have to have a look at there was an estimated 11/12k there from the UK, so it seems 5/6k less sold this time to Aussies and Americans. I thought it was a good spectacle for the TV and SKY seemed the most interested they have in SL for years but I remain dubious about how many Americans are really going to start watching. 'Soccer' has spent billions and decades and is still not one of the main players in the US. |

| That was a great advert for the game. Thought Warrington were good when they got over what Wigan were throwing at them. But Wigan don’t seem to have a weakness indeed excellent in athleticism, decision making , power, game management, strength in depth etc etc. I enjoyed the commentary too I think we are deficient in many aspects where Wigan excel. We lack pace, precision, power. Some can be solved by coaching, some by recruitment some by practice and we’ve made a start but our game v Huddersfield and that game were like night and day. I’m sure JC is aiming to be a Wigan. Takes time, vision, drive and money. I think we have all those. The top three are sewn up already for me. But this season will be so valuable for us |

Cas seem to have taken our mantle of poor overseas signings this season, they look like a championship team, they will be thankful they got their grade A! If Salford get sorted, they look like wooden spoon candidates already.

The Connor show in the first half, Cas look bad and will struggle this season especially when the injuries kick in. Fletcher Rooney looks a good player though. |

I managed to get to the 15 min mark of the woman's game and that was enough for me. I went to Vegas for the first Nrl event there last year and just about lasted both games so well done to any that stayed for the full duration. Great concept and hope it continues after the initial period ends. |
