I don't think he's been carried by the team at all, what I do think is fans are watching him thinking because he's on double or treble the wage of others he should be double or treble as good.

Sorry but hooker is one of the main roles on the field and if your hooker is consistently not delivering then i would say he is being carried

there's a lot of players not delivering, are they been carried too? And by who?

One of the consistent problems over the last couple of years is players not delivering in key positions. Last year it was Berrigan, Lee, Washbrook, Horne and look at the outcome. This year i would only say that Berrigan isnt delivering. Horne was getting back to some good form, Long is up and down and then Fitz at loose man is our stand out player.

As I have said elsewhere I have been watching him amble up to the ptb and throw out massively inaccurate passes pretty regularly this season. When I see that I don't think of his wage, just that he is slowing down our attacking line and making things more difficult for his team mates. I don't think the team carries him, but I would like to see him setting an example by the way he plays and the quality of the work he does bearing in mind his international and SOO heritage. He has been very flexible since his arrival at Hull with the number of roles he has played, and for that he deserves credit, but that doesn't excuse shoddy execution of the basics of his main role as hooker.

Would you agree that a hooker, half back and stand off need a good forward platform?



Has a sutiable platform been laid in all games?



Has Briscoe, Yeaman and Tansey performed consitently well?

I don't see the relevence of how he gets to the play the ball as long as he does.

Any number of players need to lift their game - the 3 you have mentioned certainly fall into that category. I look to current and former internationals to lead in that respect.

The point was more about body language and energy than anything else. Of course he just needs to get there in time, but I feel it is indicative of the team as a whole how lackadaisical we can be. The same goes for many of them.

Possibly. Either way he needs to be much better and start becoming an influential player in an influential position. He hasn't appeared in many people's MOM votes this season which as a whole are not a bad representation of performance as viewed by people with differing views on players and performance. IMO he should be operating as one of our best players and he isn't.

Yeaman deserves one more chance - if only for his obvious passion of scoring against the poor relations!!
