great diary, agree about the derbys way too many now . should scrap the pre season one as people are obviously getting tired of them judgeing by the crowd who turned up for the latest one. what a season the unbeaten one was, I agreed to go away on holiday to Tenerife at the time of the blackpool game thinking the don't need me there to beat them!!lol, when I saw the score the next day in the paper, nearly had coronary! remember the tension at the hunslet game, amazing
Thanks for this weeks diary Wif. I remember the Huyton home game, it was a testimonial game for their long serving winger David Leather barrow, he certainly filled his pockets that day.
Spot on Wilf very good read we also thought the team would be mostly 19s as there was no prior team announcement, for me it shows the difference in attitudes at different clubs. Love or hate the Rhinos it appears their pre season has revolved around a full strength run out for JPs game. On a more positive note Lee knows now who and probably how many of the youngsters can step up at one time. On a personal note it was good to see Rich get a run at least now the medical staff and he himself will know how his rehab is going and how manageable the discomfort levels in his wrist are. Hope to see you at Hudds
