For us to finish 7th Leigh have to beat Widnes by more points than any team has managed this season at the Vikings ground. It is possible if Widnes put half a team out but I cant imagine Betts will do that and they will want to put one over on Leigh.

I do hope Widnes win not because of some pathologic dislike of Leigh but simply for a monetary point if view.

Wakefield v Bulls however is a two edged sword for me.

I would hate Bulls to go up but would rather visit Wakefield next season than that cultural waste of a ground.

At this rate, Leigh could be finishing 8th, so they'll be down another £50K!

Mr Hall,in no way am I being blasé about Derek,in a way I'm worried,I'd already said before the big signings were made ,next season we should reduce our playing squad ,then we go and sign these lads

I don't know how much Rangi will be on but he won't come cheap as won't Harrison Hanson and Corey Patterson, added to Fui Fui and Gareth Hock,and Higham,we have crowds averaging around 3000-3500 at the moment , maybe Derek is hoping for a crowd rise of around 1000 to offset some of the cost ,I don't know but ,for me around 6- 8 of our current Squad must leave the Club it has to happen.

I have seen the Dark days at Leigh in the past and don't want it to happen again, I also don't agree with one man being in charge of a Club,but if that mears putting his OWN money into the Club ,I have no problem with it as long as he doesn't see it as a Loan and wants it back if he leaves the Club.We have been there before when Keith Bell and Jack Hart ran the Club into the ground and demanded the money back later to bankrupt the Club,believe me Mr Hall do know where you are coming from and respect your views.

Fair enough.To me Leigh became a respected club as they built up year on year substainably and got to the top level of the championship-excatly and correctly what Fax are undergoing themselves.

The current Leigh has become and unliked and ugly beast-the championship's Salford and is losing sight rapidly of what made it successfull.
