| Before Miski was brought (and seemingly rushed) back, Peet said Miski would be just before our weekend off and Walters just after, so that would make his comeback Wire away. He'll be a much needed boost and hopefully will drag a bit more from guys like Havard and Byrne.

| Interesting to see Wire have moved for a loan deal for Ryan Matterson.
Experience secondrow who may be off form by his old standards but still tough and provides then temporary relief.
I’m not saying we should have gone for him but I do wonder if it’s something we considered.
Losing Isa has left us desperately short in the secondrow and a loan signing would allow us to give Faz and Nsemba a bit of respite, particularly Faz.

| We have Hirst and Chan, both of whom have a bit of experience and neither of whom have had a look in. I wonder if there are salary cap issues behind that decision? ie their wages are picked up by the other team so long as they're out on loan but not if we bring them back, even for a short spell. It's possible that neither is a long-term solution, but you'd think they'd provide willing bodies to allow us to rest players.

| Chan struggled hugely in the secondrow and looks to have bulked to become more of a specialist middle.
Hirst clearly not deemed ready.
Lucas Mason looks a prospect but he’s still a few years off.
It’s just strange that we haven’t looked to improve in an area we clearly have no depth.

| I still think this is due to salary cap issues. Rads said that the cap was hurting us and perhaps this is what he is getting at. With all the contract renewals there's no cap space to even bring our loan players back never mind make a new signing.
The likes of Eseh, Hirst and Chan will presumably stay where they are for the rest of the season.
